KNBL Playoffs: Thunder, KPA a win away from finals
Nairobi City Thunder and KPA Dockers are each a win away from stepping into the finals in the Kenya National Basketball Men’s Premier League playoff games.
In the semi-final games that were played over the weekend, Nairobi City Thunder won 2-0 against Equity Dumas, scoring 79-77 in Game 1 and 69-66 in Game 2.

Thunder, are the unbeaten champions in the 2023-24 regular season, having won all 22 games they played in the season.
On the other hand, KPA Dockers are setting sail for the finals, after cruising through the first two games with back-to-back 64-point wins against Strathmore Blades. KPA scored 64 : 60 in Game 1 and 64 : 59 in Game 2, in the best of 5 series.
