The Terror That Tamed the Tigers
It was a showdown as UON Terror roared onto the court to face off against the USIU Tigers. With claws sharpened and paws ready to pounce, both teams came hunting for glory — but only one could claw their way to victory.

From the tip-off, it was clear that Powell Harbos of UON came not to play, but to prey. He dropped 27 points like they were hot potatoes, slicing through the Tiger defense like a blender set to ‘turbo’. With 8 rebounds and 8 assists, he was everywhere — the predator in chief of the Terror squad.
But the Tigers had their own king of the court — the ever-smooth Joshua Athiang. He lit up the scoreboard with 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, shooting 35.1% from the field like he had a cheat code. If basketball was chess, Athiang was the Tiger king putting everyone in check.
Patrick Otango tried to pounce in as well, dropping 12 points and hustling hard with 5 steals and 4 rebounds. He may not have had the flash, but boy did he bring the claw. Meanwhile, UON’s Morgan Niva kept things cooking with a clean 19 points and 3 steals, acting like a microwave — always heating up when needed.
As the minutes ticked by, the game turned into a back-and-forth jam. USIU’s team chemistry was undeniable, with players like Deng Kuol and Vitumbiko Mponela sharing the rock. But UON had grit — Ryan Onyango and Jacob Aleu may not have scored big, but their defense was tighter than a drum in a marching band.
And the final whistle? It sang a song of sweet terror — UON Terror, that is. With 86 points on the board compared to USIU’s 60, it was a victory hard-earned, and well-chomped.
As the dust settled and sneakers squeaked their final goodbyes, fans knew they’d witnessed a clash of titans. Tigers may be fearsome in the wild, but on this day, it was the Terror who ruled the court.
